Aqua X User Management Guide: How to Edit Team Member Aqua X Profiles

Steps to update details of existing team members

Managing your team’s workspace alignment within the platform is straightforward. As a workspace administrator or account manager, you can update a team member’s personal profile details at any time. Keeping your internal directory accurate ensures seamless collaboration across your entire organization.

If you need to know how to edit team member Aqua X profiles, follow these clear, step-by-step instructions to modify an existing user's information:

  1. Access the User Management Tab: Log into your dashboard and navigate to the "Team Members" section from your main navigation menu to open your central dashboard.

  2. Select the Specific User Profile: Scroll through your active user list or use the search bar to locate the individual. Click directly on their name to open their profile overview.

  3. Trigger Edit Mode: Locate and click the "Edit User Details" button, which sits in the upper right-hand corner of the profile interface.

  4. Update and Save: From this screen, you can modify the user's first and last name, update their primary phone number, or upload a new profile picture. Once you complete the adjustments, click "Save Changes" to apply the updates across the workspace instantly.

Understanding Profile Modification Constraints

To maintain platform security and data integrity, you cannot directly alter certain core identifiers once you initiate a user account.

Important System Constraint: The platform does not allow you to directly change user role Aqua X assignments or perform an Aqua X update account email action once you transmit an invitation or activate the account.

How to Modify Workspace Permissions Aqua X and System Emails

If a team member changes internal roles, or if onboarding requires a different email destination, you must execute a brief manual workaround depending on the user's account status:

Resolving an Aqua X Invite Pending Cancel Situation:

If the user has not yet accepted their initial onboarding email, you can easily fix this from your dashboard:

  • Navigate directly to the "Pending Invites" tab.

  • Click the options menu next to the user's name.

  • Select "Cancel Invite" to revoke the original request.

  • Issue a brand-new invitation containing the corrected email address and the appropriate permission tier.

Adjusting Active User Profiles

If the user already has an active account, you cannot directly modify workspace permissions Aqua X settings or change the registered email. Instead, you must first deactivate or remove the current active profile from your software ecosystem. Once removed, simply reissue a new workspace invitation using the updated parameters and correct user role.
