How do I assign a device to a resident and select a pillar?

Instructions to assign devices and set pillars or phases

1. Start From the Resident’s Page

  1. Go to the Resident Records page.

  2. Find the resident you want to assign a device to.

  3. Click their Name or View Details.

  4. On the Resident Details page, click Actions.

  5. Select Assign Pillar to begin the device assignment process.


2. Select the Pillar or Phase

  1. Select the appropriate Pillar/Phase for the resident.

  2. Check the confirmation box acknowledging you reviewed the information.

  3. Click Continue.
    Note: You cannot go back after this point, but you can change a resident’s Pillar later once a device is assigned.


3. Add Approved Contacts (Optional)

  • You will now have the option to enter Approved Contacts for the resident.

  • This step is optional — contacts can be added later at any time.

  • Add contacts now, or click Continue to skip.


4. Prepare the Device

  1. Power on the device you are assigning.
    Ensure it has at least 50% battery.

  2. Follow the prompts on the device to begin setup.

  3. Connect the device to Wi-Fi/Hotspot when prompted.

  4. Continue through the standard Google setup screens until an onboarding code appears.


5. Enter the Onboarding Code in the Dashboard

  • The device will display a unique code during setup.

  • Return to the Aqua X dashboard and enter that code when prompted.


6. Wait for Device Onboarding

  • The device onboarding process takes about 5 minutes.

  • The device will automatically enroll, apply settings, and connect to the resident’s profile.


7. Onboarding Complete

  • Once onboarding finishes, the resident’s device is fully assigned and ready for use.
