Follow these four simple steps to update or edit aqua x device restrictions:
1.Navigate to Curfews: Log into your Aqua X admin dashboard. Open the main navigation menu and click on Curfews. Next, click directly on the specific curfew pillar or curfew time you want to change.
2.Access the Actions Menu: After clicking the curfew you want to change, locate and click the Actions button at the top-right corner of the selected curfew. This will open a dropdown menu with all your administrative options.
3.Execute Your Command:
Activate Curfew: This selection is how to activate Aqua X curfew that you created. It changes the status from deactivated to active.
Deactivate Curfew: Pauses the enforcement rule instantly. Use this quick fix to solve network issues or get access after regular hours. It won't change your saved settings.
Edit Curfew: Changes your core settings. Select this to tweak your Start Time, End Time, or specific Days of operation.
Delete Curfew: Permanently wipes the rule from your database.
4.Commit Configuration Changes: If you edited the rule, click the Save button. To activate or deactivate, just confirm the pop-up message. This will send the change to the devices in that group.
Important Information
⚠️ You Cannot Delete Active Curfew Aqua X Warning: To prevent sudden network disruptions, the platform includes a built-in safety guard. If you try to remove a live rule, you must always select Deactivate first. Once the dashboard status changes to "Inactive," the delete button will unlock.
Manual Trigger Required: When you create a new curfew within the Aqua X curfew management dashboard, it wont turn it on right away. By default, all new curfews start in a "Deactivated" state. It lets you check your settings before they change your devices.
Automated Pillar Inheritance: The platform uses a structure governed by strict aqua x pillar device assignment rules. Once you set a curfew to Active, it becomes active for that entire pillar. If you connect a new device to that Pillar, it will automatically take on the active curfews. You do not need to perform any manual syncs or extra setups.
