No Internet Screen

What is the No Internet screen?

If a resident's device loses its connection, they'll see a “No internet connection detected” message. This just means the device needs an active Wi-Fi or mobile data connection to work properly.

How does a resident reconnect to the internet?

Tapping “Connect to Internet” on the screen opens a popup where the resident can turn Wi-Fi on, connect to a saved network, or switch over to mobile data instead.

Can residents switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data?

Yes. Once the popup appears, they can toggle Wi-Fi on or off and choose from any available networks, or switch to mobile data if that's enabled for the device.

Curfew Screen

What is the Curfew screen?

When curfew is active on a resident's device, the screen locks and shows a countdown along with a limited set of options: Emergency, Power Off, and Restart.

How does a resident bring up the Curfew options menu?

Pressing and holding the power button and volume up button together brings up the Emergency, Power Off, and Restart options.

What do the Emergency, Power Off, and Restart options do?

  • Emergency – lets the resident make an emergency call even while curfew is active

  • Power Off – turns the device off completely

  • Restart – reboots the device, though curfew restrictions will still apply once it turns back on
