If a resident receives a "Storage Full" notification, it usually means media files or temporary app data are clogging up the phone. Here is how to fix it:
Step 1: Delete Unwanted Media The most common culprit is photos and videos. Ask the resident to open their Photos or Gallery app and delete any old videos or pictures they no longer need.
Tip: Don't forget to empty the "Trash" or "Bin" folder inside the Photos app to permanently free up that space!
Step 2: Clear App Cache Sometimes apps store too much temporary data. You can clear this without deleting the app itself:
Open the Settings app on the device.
Tap on Apps (or Apps & notifications).
Tap See all apps.
Select a heavy-usage app (like Chrome, YouTube, or Social Media apps).
Tap Storage & cache.
Tap Clear Cache.
Still not working? If the device is still showing full storage after trying these steps, please reach out to our support team. We can help investigate if there is a system issue or a specific app causing the problem.
